Strata Pier Float & Ramp
For the common use of residents the subject lands boasts a
.0894 hectare foreshore licence with an engineered 140 foot
long pier, a 40’ ramp and 20 foot x 60 foot float. The
float is constructed of two epoxy tarred 36” steel tank
pontoons which is anchored and sits as a breakwater. The float
is fully bumpered and decked in treated timbers and is accessible
in extreme weather all year. It is reasonably approachable
for docking even in 20 knot winds and a two foot chop.
The depth of water and length of float allows
for the docking of a full keeled ocean going yacht and several
smaller craft or seaplanes on the protected inside. The pier
consists of 6’ wide aluminum spans on concrete pillars
and is fully accessible for an ATV with trailer to access
the float.
The head of the pier widens into a large
straight grain cedar deck and 20’ wide cedar shaked
gazebo. The railings are mahogany with copper capped posts,
beautiful craftsmanship with the finest materials. Next to
the pier sits a cement paved full sized boat launching ramp
which connects to the foot of the common strata road.
